This year instead of a live quilt auction the Dakotas Conference is holding an online quilt auction to support hunger projects.

 The auction will take place on October 21-24, quilts can be viewed by October 15 at www.girardbid.com.

Proceeds from the auction will support Dakotas Conference, UMCOR and global hunger projects. A portion of the procceeds raised are designated for hunger grants that are allocated to churches throughout North and South Dakota. A subcommittee of the Missional Impact Link recieves and reviews applications for grant funding.

The primary focus of the hunger grants are for programs that serve hot meals with time for fellowship. If you are aware of such a program in your area, please nominate the program for a grant (click here for an application). Grants are due in the Dakotas Conference office by October 15.
