Paul became senior pastor at Huron First United Methodist Church in July 2017 and seeks to serve the church as a shepherd and equipper. He desires to see people come to know Christ as Lord and Savior and to grow in grace and service.

Before coming to Huron, Paul served in  an associate pastor in Mitchell and Brookings  and spent most of his career in campus ministry with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.  

Paul enjoys antiquing with his wife Ruth as well as hunting and fishing and riding his ancient motorcycle.

 Paul is married to Ruth, and they have two married children; Jonathan and his wife Layne and Katherine and her husband Stephen.
