Donor Advised Funds

A Donor Advised Fund is much like a Named Endowment, but an individual or group assists in directing the distribution of the funds annually. At least 10% must go to United Methodist-related ministries. If the advisory group ceases to exist, the Foundation will endeavor to distribute the funds to the ministries or to ministries similar to those that had been selected in the past.

Donor Advised Funds are established with an irrevocable contribution.
