HealthFlex:
The Dakotas Annual Conference provides health insurance through Wespath’s HealthFlex Exchange plan.
Eligibility:
Dakotas Conference staff: Lay employees in the Dakotas Annual Conference scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in HealthFlex.
Local church staff: Each church independently determines if it will offer HealthFlex to lay employees working at least 30 hours per week. Contact your church administrator for details.
Eligible dependents may be covered: Spouse and dependent children.
Definition of dependent child: Your child 1) less than 26 years old or 2) age 26 and older, unmarried and who is not self-supporting due to a physical or mental disability, provided the disability existed before the child attained the age of 26. A child includes one who is in the custody of the Participant, pursuant to an interim court order of adoption or placement for adoption, whichever comes first, whether or not a final order granting adoption is ultimately issued. It also includes a stepchild who lives with you. It also includes a child living with you for whom you are the legal guardian.
