This year we are bringing a little competition to Annual Conference!  As part of our Miracle Offering for Imagine No Malaria, we are holding the first “Bring Change: Battle of the Districts” competition.  Here’s how it will work:

1. Bring your loose change to annual conference!
2. Each day, place the specified change in your district’s container.
   • Wednesday:  Pennies and Nickels
   • Thursday:  Dimes and Quarters
   • Friday:  Bills and Checks
3. Here’s the best part: you can “sabotage” other districts!  By placing the incorrect change in another district’s container, that amount will be subtracted from their daily total. For example:
   • Sakakawea puts $5 in quarters in the Eastern Sunrise container on Wednesday – although the total for Sakakawea does not go up, Eastern Sunrise is now at -$5 for the day.  Better add more change!
   • Glacial Lakes puts a $20 bill in the Prairie Hills container on Thursday, taking away $20 from the Prairie Hills total.  If Prairie Hills had $40 in its container already, their total would now come to +$20 overall. 
4. We will count up the totals each day, and the winning district will be announced at the end of Annual Conference. 
5. The winning district’s Superintendent will take home our Imagine No Malaria Trophy and, of course, bragging rights!

So this year, we are asking you to “Bring Change” by actually bringing change.  Collect it at home, at your churches, and from between your couch cushions, and bring it with you to Annual Conference to help support Imagine No Malaria.
