Dr. Alisha Vincent, VP of Programs & Operations
Dakotas and Minnesota Methodist Foundations announce the appointment of Dr. Alisha Vincent as Vice President of Programs and Operations, effective February 2, 2026. In this role, Dr. Vincent will oversee the Foundations’ programming efforts, leadership development, planned giving strategy, partnership development, and staff supervision.
“Alisha Vincent brings the kind of faith-filled leadership that strengthens both people and purpose. She is the kind of leader you pray for in a season of growth—strategic, steady, and deeply grounded in mission,” said Sheri Meister, president/CEO of the Dakotas and Minnesota Methodist Foundations. “Alisha understands that strong operations are not just logistics; they are faithful stewardship of the calling and resources entrusted to us. Her commitment to excellence, her care for others, and her ability to build strong systems will help us expand our impact while remaining rooted in our values and vision. We’re thrilled to welcome her as Vice President of Programs and Operations.”
Dr. Vincent has been instrumental in developing the Generosity Grove.
Dr. Vincent brings more than a decade of experience in United Methodist higher education and ministry-focused leadership, having served Dakota Wesleyan University since 2013 in roles including professor, associate provost, and director of the Practical Church Leadership program. In these positions, she has helped clergy and lay leaders grow in practical skills for ministry, administration, stewardship, and organizational leadership.
Beyond her work at Dakota Wesleyan, Dr. Vincent has partnered with numerous United Methodist foundations, contributing to efforts that strengthen clergy leadership, financial stewardship, and congregational vitality. She has maintained a consulting practice since 2004, working with nonprofits, churches, and other organizations on strategy, governance, and program development. She brings extensive nonprofit leadership experience, specializing in governance and strategic leadership for organizations working both domestically and globally.
Dr. Vincent has been actively involved with the Dakotas Conference of The United Methodist Church since 2013, assisting with various initiatives, strategic planning processes, and serving on the Board of Ordained Ministry as a laity member. This sustained engagement reflects her deep commitment to the churches and leaders of the Dakotas and Minnesota, and to helping congregations thrive in their local communities.
“I have loved working with churches and leadership across the Dakotas and Minnesota,” Dr. Vincent said. “For the last decade, my work with Dakota Wesleyan University has allowed me to walk alongside clergy and lay leaders as they develop practical skills for ministry. I look forward to continuing that journey through programming that helps churches and conferences thrive.”
In her new role, Dr. Vincent will collaborate closely with the Foundations’ president, staff, and boards to strengthen existing programs and develop new initiatives that help congregations cultivate generosity, steward resources faithfully, and support innovative ministry.
