Millard's grand daughter sparks change with new song

By: Lauren Kostiuk, WTHR news, Indianapolis

Taylor Hall, a young activist, wanted to use her voice in a different way to reach others. She took her passion and made a song called “I Can’t Breathe."

Hall, a 19-year-old graduate from Crispus Attucks High School and Ball State University student, helped lead some of the peaceful protests and movements in downtown Indianapolis.

The passion Hall has runs in her family. Her grandfather, Rev. Dr. Kent Millard, who grew up in Faith, South Dakota and was ordained an elder in the Dakotas Conference, marched with Dr. Martin Luther King in the 60s
