Pilgrims journey on the Walk to Emmaus

By: Betty Janke, secretary, Dakotas Walk to Emmaus

Dakotas Walk To Emmaus found 12 men and 20 lady Pilgrims on their Walk to Emmaus (WTE) during the last two weekends in March. Their Sunday afternoon sharing time revealed that several of the pilgrims had newly committed their lives to the Lord. Many commented that they looked forward to being more involved in their local churches.

If you are in a church body with one or more of these people who have just attended the WTE please welcome them. They are ready to be Christ’s hands and feet serving in the Body of Christ with you.

The Walk to Emmaus is for clergy and laity to have a faith enriching weekend. Are you feeling a bit lethargic or maybe stuck in a routine? Please consider attending the next Dakotas Walk to Emmaus.

For more information please contact Betty Janke, DWTE Board Secretary, or go on line to WWW.dakotaswalk.org to see the video and obtain additional information.
