Cheryl Aileen Bonham McKnight, 66, of Rapid City, South Dakota passed away surrounded by her family on June 1st, 2025. Cheryl was the wife of Rev. John McKnight, retired Dakotas Conference Elder.

Together, John and Cheryl served churches in the Dakotas Conference at Leola/ Frederick, Colton/ Chester, Rapid City Knollwood Heights/ Rapid Valley, Bowbells/ Donnybrook/ Kenmare, Flandreau/ Egan, Parker/ Hurley, Rapid City South Maple, Kimball United, and Pringle. 

A memorial service will be held for Cheryl at Rapid City Open Heart United Methodist Church, 202 East Indiana Street, Rapid City, South Dakota, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM
