Sympathy is extended to the friends and family of Evelyn Blumer, 90, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who died Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Dow Rummel Village in Sioux Falls. Evelyn is the spouse of Rev. Boyd Blumer, retired elder of the Dakotas Conference.
Together Evelyn and Boyd served congregations in Goodrich and Chaseley, Clear Lake Evangelical United Brethren-Methodist; Clear Lake and Gary; Aberdeen Faith UMC; Bath UMC; Sioux Falls First UMC; Hartford UMC; and at Sturgis UMC. They also served together as the Northern District Superintendent, the Central District Superintendent, and in mission at Tree of Life Ministry.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 9, at First United Methodist Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Burial will follow at 3:30 PM in Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell.
