What Jesus Came to Do 1 Corinthians 9:19-23

Through Paul’s writing, we can see the influence his faith in Christ had on Paul's life. Jesus came to bridge the divide between humanity and God, showing love to all people, without exception. Paul learned from that example. Though he had a history of prejudice to others, he grew in his faith and changed into a person who wanted to share God’s love with all people.

We don’t all struggle with the same divides Paul faced, but we do all have our own prejudices. We judge others based on how they dress, who their friends are, what classes they take, or where they go to school. We sometimes judge people on where they live, what their parents do for a living, or what beliefs they have. Jesus came to show us that all people are children of God. His example changed Paul and it can change us too.
