During a brief presentation at the 2026 Dakotas Annual Conference, Beata Ferris introduced attendees to the Amplify Dakotas channel, a partnership between the Dakotas Conference and Amplify Media by Cokesbury that is making high-quality, Wesleyan resources more accessible than ever before. As Ferris explained, "Think of it as Netflix for United Methodists," providing a rich library of digital resources for churches, small groups, families, and individual discipleship.

What makes Amplify Dakotas unique is the addition of a conference-specific channel featuring content created by and for Dakotas United Methodists. Alongside the extensive Cokesbury library, users can access resources such as Bishop Lanette Plambeck's sermons, Annual Conference materials, Dakotas Bible, Lenten, and Advent studies, worship resources, leadership training, and ministry stories from across the conference.

Ferris noted that this partnership allows the conference to "intermingle the materials that are created here in the Dakotas that speak to who we are as United Methodists on the prairies and in the hills and along the streams and on the lakes of the Dakotas, along with the rest of the denomination." She also shared that the Dakotas Conference is doing something "no other conference in the denomination is doing" by offering its own custom Amplify channel.

Thanks to the Dakotas Connection Initiative grant, Amplify Dakotas is available free of charge to all Dakotas United Methodists, removing the cost of an individual Amplify Media subscription while expanding access to digital discipleship resources for individuals and churches of every size.
