Saving Grace Clergy Cohort for Financial Well-beingMay 1 – June 12, Register by Apr. 15
Start the new year by finding the peace that comes with being in control of finances instead of having them control you. This 9-week session, May 1 – June 12, Thursdays at 11:00 am – 12:15 pm, includes content on the unique aspects of clergy finances and will be led by Rod Stemme. Cost: $150.00. The Foundation will provide scholarship funds to cover the cost of the course and materials for the first 10 registrants in each session. Please register here by April 15th, or contact Diane Weller for more information.

What's Love Got to Do with It? | Thursday, January 30 at 3 p.m.

Join Rev. Dr. Bruce Forbes, Dakotas Conference retired elder, for an insightful and "cozy" discussion about love. The event will be held at the Tiger Cafe in the McGovern Library on the campus of Dakota Wesleyan University

LUKE-ACTS 2025 - Reflections & Resources

Chapter 4 of Luke contains some significant moments in the launch of Jesus' public ministry. They invite us to reflect on what the three temptations of Jesus symbolize and how overcoming them prepares him for the challenges to come; the reaction of people in Jesus' hometown when he proclaims he is fulfilling the words of Isaiah and then "expands the table" to include Gentiles; and acts of healing and driving out demons that spread the news of Jesus throught the area. As we begin to dig deeper into the way of Jesus, we invite you to join the discussion in our DKMNLukeActs Facebook group.

When you hear the word conflict, what reaction happens in your body? Is it possible to have a healthy relationship with conflict? How do you develop the capacity to enter into conflict well? These are some burning questions that will be explored in this conflict workshop offered by Leaderwise. This online workshop will help you understand conflict more deeply and give you the space and time to think about your conflict styles (using an assessment prior to the workshop) and how to develop new skills in conflict.

Elisha/Samuel Intern applications
Do you know a young adult or older high school student who has gifts for ministry or is sensing God's call in their lives? Encourage them to apply for an Elisha or Samuel internship. These internship programs allow students to explore, discern their call, and discuss where God is calling them while getting a taste of church and pastoral ministry.  Applications are being accepted until March 1. Churches interested in hosting an intern should contact their district superintendent.

Men's Retreat | March 14-15
Join us at Storm Mountain Center for our annual men’s retreat. The retreat will begin with an evening of worship, fellowship, and study, delving into the things that can distract us from our faith. Bob Goff’s book, Undistracted, will guide our learning. On Saturday, we will continue to explore this theme, finding ways to eliminate these distractions, freeing us to find joy. Cost: $110 (This includes lodging and three meals). For questions or more information call or email Pastor John Britt.

Virtual SPRC Training | March 13
Staff/Pastor-Parish Relations Committees (S/PPRC) are encouraged to attend a virtual training hosted and led by Rev. Dan Bader, DK Conference superintendent, Rev. Becky Jo Messenbrink, MN Conference superintendent, and Diane Owen, Area director of clergy well-being. If you have new members of the S/PPRC, have recently received a new pastor, or haven’t been through a training in a while, you are recommended to participate. The training is best experienced if all SPRC members are viewing the training together thus allowing for engagement in table conversations. Register your SPRC here.
