Hope Mark 13:32-37

In a recent discussion about when Jesus will return, a student in the youth group yelled out, "Not even Google knows when Jesus will return." I wasn’t sure if this was a question or a clarifying statement about how really no one knows. What it did make me think about is that we have the answer to just about any question on the devices that we carry around with us every day. When it usually takes just a couple of seconds to have the answer to any question you can ask, it becomes even harder to wait when you can't get an answer.

Maybe it is best that we don't know when Jesus will return. We should live every day in a way that expresses our hope and expectation that Jesus might return on this day. Because we anticipate the coming of Jesus, we should live in a way that brings hope to others every day.
