There are limited opportunities for meals, workshops and special events remaining. If you did not get registered contact Susan Punt at 605-990-7794 or susan.punt@dakotasumc.org. You will be charged a late fee.

Can I watch everything on the Livestream and not register?
The worship services and plenary sessions will be available to the general public via Livestream on the conference website. These are times of broadcast:

• June 8, 2023, 8:00 a.m., CDT, opening devotions followed by consideration of disaffiliation agreements. 
• June 8, 2023, 1:00 p.m., CDT, Opeing worship with Bishop Lanette Plambeck delivering the episcopal address,
• June 8, 2023, 2:15 p.m., CDT, Plenary Session I with the Missional Report, Laity Report,  followed by conference speaker and teacher Michael Beck.
• June 9, 2023,  8 a.m. CDT,  Worship with the Miracle Offering.
• June 9, 2023, 10:15 a.m., CDT,Speaker Michael Beck followed by Plenary Session II
• June 9, 2023, 2:15 p.m. , CDT,Plenary Sessions III and IV
• June 9, 2023, 7 p.m. CDT, Celebration of Life in Ministry Service, a time when we remember those clergy and conference leaders who have left this earthly home to be with Jesus, celebrate clergy entering retirement, bless local pastors entering a ministry, and commission and ordain new clergy.
• June 10, 2023, 8 a.m., CDT, Opening devotions followed by Plenary Session V
• June 10 , 2023, 11 a.m., CDT, Closing worship, where we will set the clergy appointments and remember our baptisms.

What is the Pre-Conference Gathering, and why should I attend?
There will be four Pre-Conference Gathering sessions held virtually via Zoom webinar. These sessions will inform delegates about how voting will occur, the 2022 budget proposal, the nominations report, the consent calendar, and any other items in the Conference Workbook. This will be an opportunity to discuss the legislation happening during the conference. There will be little time during the actual session for discussion about these issues. Participants must take this time to get their questions answered. Connection information will be sent via e-mail to each registered participant in advance of your session.

Is there a conference hotel?

If you are attending the annual conference in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, there are several designated hotels. Conference participants are responsible for their own housing. The main hotel that is designated for this event is the Sheraton (Event Hotel). Get the details on the Sheraton and other hotels.
